ROCHFORD District Council are looking for local caterers for their annual Wild Woods Day Event on Saturday, June 3 between 11am until 4pm in Hockley Woods.

Wild Woods Day is the council’s biggest event which regularly attracts 3-4,000 people over the course of the day.

The event is one of the most popular events in the District’s calendar, where visitors can expect a packed programme of sports, arts and green themed activities and entertainment in the stunning surroundings of Hockley Woods.

Wild Woods Day 2016 was busier than ever with family favourites such as the climbing wall, archery and craft workshops alongside a host of new activities in our Create & Play Zone, Active Zone and Wild Zone and a packed schedule of entertainment on our stage hosted by Radio Essex.??

Entry is free to this family-friendly event which has a focus on ‘green’ themes including recycling, sustainability and protecting the local environment. A large pop-up market place showcases local and organic produce as well as upcycled and recycled goods.
