BBC Show Set In South Essex To Return

THE New BBC TV Series White Gold will return to film in South Essex for a second series.

The first series of the show, which details the lives of three Thatcher-era double-glazing salesman was very popular, and has been recommissioned, due to air in 2018.

The show was filmed in Southend, Stanford-le-Hope and Corringham, and stars Inbetweeners stars James Buckley and Joe Thomas, as well as Gossip Girl star Ed Westwick.

White Gold was the second highest rated comedy of the year on BBC iPlayer, with more than five million views so far.
